About the estate
The family-run Vina Poletti estate is located in the Istrian village of Markovac near Višnjan and traces its origins back to 1842. When Peter-Piero Poletti took over the property in the late nineties, he expanded the vineyard plantations and increased the cellar capacity. Today, the winery cultivates nine hectares of vineyards and produces six grape varieties, including Malvazija istarska, Chardonnay, Refošk, Cabernet Sauvignon, Merlot, and Muškat Ružu. The wines can be found on local restaurant wine lists and in tourist guides, while organized tastings are available at the cellar by prior appointment.
The eno directory lists 7 wines, mostly from Malvazija Istarska and Chardonnay. The estate sells to horeca.
