About the estate
The Vina Blažič estate is located in the heart of the Goriška Brda in Medana, specifically in the Plešivo micro-location directly on the border with Italy. The history of the property dates back to 1890 when Peter Blažič acquired the farm, and today three generations live and work on the estate. Spanning nine hectares of vineyards with vines up to 50 years old, the winery produces between 20,000 and 30,000 bottles of wine annually. The family applies nature-friendly methods to both grape cultivation and cellar management. The portfolio features grape varieties such as Rebula, Jakot, Sauvignon, Chardonnay, and Cabernet Sauvignon, vinified into three distinct lines.
