About the estate
The Vigna del Gal winery is situated in the protected hill country of Prosecco Superiore and was established in 1986 by Italo Balliana. After years of delivering grapes to the local cooperative, the family business began producing its own estate-bottled Col Fondo Prosecco in 1992. With the involvement of sons Devid and Christian, additional steep and sun-drenched parcels were acquired to expand production. Today, the estate cultivates its vineyards in this distinctive terroir following the original philosophy, crafting wines under the Conegliano Valdobbiadene Prosecco Superiore DOCG and Prosecco DOC appellations.
