About the estate

The Tonello estate in Montorso Vicentino is family-run and looks back on a winemaking tradition that began in the 1930s. In 1985, Antonio Tonello decided to dedicate the entire production to making estate-bottled wine, and since 2014 he has managed the winery together with his daughter Diletta. Across ten hectares of vineyards in the Lessini Mountains, farming follows organic principles with a strong focus on the native grape varieties Garganega and Durella. The volcanic and basaltic soils impart a mineral and long-lived character to the wines. In addition to these main local varieties, Merlot, Cabernet, and Chardonnay are also cultivated, and the bottles are distributed both domestically and internationally.

The eno directory lists 6 wines, mostly from Garganega. The estate sells to importers and horeca. Export markets include Belgium, Netherlands, Germany and Czechia.
