The Tinto Pesquera winery traces its origins back to a 16th-century stone press where Alejandro Fernández and Esperanza Rivera produced their first wines from family vineyards in 1972. First commercialized in 1975, the brand soon became a flagship reference and played a key role in the rise and official recognition of the Ribera del Duero DO. Today, the estate continues to focus on crafting exceptional red wines from the Tempranillo grape, combining traditional craftsmanship with the authentic characteristics of the local terroir. Its wines are distributed to numerous countries around the world.
