About the estate

The Terre di Rai winery was founded in 2008 by Sandra De Giusti and is managed by her three sons Simone, Alessio, and Fabio Cecchetto, drawing on four generations of family winemaking experience. The estate operates across two wine regions in Northern Italy, with facilities in San Polo di Piave in the province of Treviso and Azzano Decimo in the province of Pordenone. The vineyards feature diverse soils including clay, sand, gravel, and the characteristic Ponca soil, cultivating white and red grape varieties such as Sauvignon Blanc, Pinot Grigio, Ribolla Gialla, Chardonnay, Cabernet Sauvignon, Cabernet Franc, and Merlot. The portfolio includes red, white, rosé, and sparkling wines from appellations such as Conegliano Valdobbiadene Prosecco Superiore DOCG and Prosecco DOC. The family oversees the entire production cycle from the vineyards to bottling while investing in innovative and sustainable practices to reduce environmental impact.
