About the estate
The Tenuta I Fauri estate is located in Abruzzo and is run by the family's children after completing their oenology studies. The winery achieved organic certification with the 2021 vintage, representing an important step in respecting nature and the ecosystem. The resulting wines are lively and fresh, focusing entirely on the typicity of the grape variety. Notably, the estate was among the first to free Montepulciano d'Abruzzo from the rhetoric of barrique ageing.
The eno directory lists 12 wines, mostly from Montepulciano and Pecorino. The estate sells to distributors, horeca and retail. Export markets include Belgium, Croatia and Germany.
