About the estate
The Tangl estate, located in Tarrenz in Tyrol, was founded in 2005 and is managed by the Edgar Tangl family. The vineyards are situated in the Gurgltal at an altitude of around 800 meters. Approximately three-quarters of the vineyard area is planted with Pinot Noir, with the remaining area dedicated to Müller-Thurgau. Through targeted work in the vineyard, yield reduction, and a late harvest, the estate produces wines characterized by delicate fruit aromas and a cool North Tyrolean profile. Anna-Elisabeth and Edgar Tangl oversee the vinification as well as the vineyard management and sales.
