About the estate
The Franz Wechselberger estate is located in Kolsassberg in Tyrol and has been run by the winemaker at an altitude of 650 meters for ten years. Cultivation is carried out organically and in an environmentally friendly manner for the next generation. The portfolio includes around 20 tested grape varieties, with a focus on fungus-resistant varieties as well as classic grape varieties from Austria, France, and Italy. The produced wines include characterful, fruity, and easy-drinking wines made from Merlot, Cabernet Sauvignon, and Cabernet Cortis. Distribution takes place, among other channels, via the farm's own webshop and regional partners.
