About the estate

The Steiner family winery is located in Gamlitz in the hilly landscape of South Styria and is jointly run by multiple generations. Covering a vineyard area of approximately four hectares at an altitude of 390 meters, the estate primarily cultivates traditional grape varieties such as Sauvignon Blanc, Gelber Muskateller, Pinot Blanc, and Morillon. Farming is carried out through sustainable manual labor and in accordance with integrated production guidelines to produce grapes for wines of the South Styria DAC designation. The traditional estate's offerings are complemented by an on-site wine tavern.

The eno directory lists 16 wines, mostly from Sauvignon Blanc and Pinot Gris. The estate sells to retail.
