About the estate
The Somm'a4 company was founded by four sommeliers who discovered their shared passion for the Negroamaro grape variety and sparkling wines during their sommelier training. The name of the estate directly reflects this project, which applies traditional bottle fermentation to this southern Italian grape. For the secondary fermentation in the bottle, the team collaborates with experienced sparkling wine producers from the province of Brescia. The initial production line is a Metodo Classico Brut Rosé that combines the distinct varietal profile of Negroamaro as a rosé wine with Chardonnay.
