About the estate
The Serra Ferdinandea estate is a joint project by the Oddo and Planeta families in western Sicily that unites French and Sicilian influences. The vineyards are situated between 400 and 450 meters of altitude on the edges of the Sicani Mountains in a landscape defined by hills and forests. Agricultural management follows biodynamic principles. The grape variety portfolio includes Syrah, Sauvignon Blanc, Grillo, and Nero d’Avola. The name of the enterprise derives from the local rocky ridges as well as the historical Ferdinandea Island.
