About the estate

The Schandl estate is located in the Rosalia wine region in Burgenland, cultivating steep slopes with brown earth soils and loess subsoil. The family-run business focuses ninety percent of its vineyards on the autochthonous grape varieties Blaufränkisch and Zweigelt. The extended family produces dense, fruity red and rosé wines as well as sustainably produced organic rosés. The work encompasses the entire process from vineyard management and vinification to worldwide marketing. The wines reflect the character of their origin and stand for straightforward enjoyment.

The eno directory lists 22 wines, mostly from Blaufränkisch and Chardonnay. The estate sells to retail.
