About the estate

The Schaller vom See estate in Podersdorf am See is run as a fourth-generation family business. On ten hectares of vineyards, Gerhard and Brigitte Schaller cultivate plots in the prime locations around Podersdorf on Lake Neusiedl. Their approach in the vineyard is natural and gentle in order to produce characteristic wines of great purity and lightness. The winery looks back on over 120 years of winemaking history and relies on a sustainable relationship with nature. The resulting wines authentically express the terroir of the Lake Neusiedl region.

The eno directory lists 22 wines, mostly from Zweigelt and Cabernet Sauvignon. The estate sells to retail, importers and distributors. Export markets include Netherlands.
