About the estate
The Scacciadiavoli estate in Montefalco was founded in 1884 and encompasses a total area of 130 hectares, with 40 hectares dedicated to vineyards. The vineyards are situated on clayey-loam soils within the southern Umbrian valley region across the Montefalco and Spoleto appellations. Cultivated grape varieties include Sagrantino, Sangiovese, Grechetto, and Trebbiano Spoletino. Since 2023, the winery has been in transition to organic farming. The historical property features both active winemaking facilities and an on-site wine museum.
