About the estate
The Ronchi di Sant'Egidio estate is located on the hills of Rosazzo in the heart of Poggiobello within the Friuli Colli Orientali DOC denomination. The history of the property dates back to the 13th century, when the site was operated as a fortified hospital and hospice by monks of the abbey. The family has proudly maintained and carried forward this heritage since 1600. The protected architectural ensemble also includes the historic Chapel of Sant'Egidio, which was rebuilt in 1740. Today, the winery welcomes visitors to a location where centuries of history, hospitality, and Friorian tradition are preserved.
