Rieder

About the estate

The family-run Rieder estate is based in the wine town of Poysdorf in the Weinviertel region and looks back on more than 260 years of winemaking history. The vineyards benefit from loess-clay soils, significant temperature differences between day and night, and the surrounding forests and meadows of the Veltlinerland. One of the region's specialties is the spicy and peppery Grüner Veltliner. The winery's philosophy is characterized by meticulous care in the vineyard, gentle grape processing, and deliberate actions in the cellar. The portfolio is complemented by the Veltliner Hof wine tavern and the associated wine hotel.
