About the estate

The family-run Rain estate in Alberndorf im Pulkautal in the Weinviertel region has been cultivating wine for many generations with a focus on producing high-quality wines. The vineyard area is planted with 60 percent white wine varieties and 40 percent red wine varieties. In the winery, the business combines modern methods such as computerized fermentation control with time-tested traditions. While modern technology is used during vinification, the red wines are aged traditionally in oak and acacia barrels.
