About the estate
The Picchioni Andrea winery cultivates ten hectares of vineyards in Canneto Pavese within the Oltrepò Pavese region, tracing its history back to 1988 with the reclamation of suitable vineyards. The vineyards are situated in the Valle Solinga on steep southern slopes featuring loose, pebbly soils that receive intense sunlight during the summer. The estate follows an organic philosophy which includes avoiding conventional soil tillage to prevent erosion and utilizing private water sources for agricultural activities. Since 1995, operations have been supported by the collaboration with winemaker Giuseppe Zatti.
