About the estate
The family-run Palavín s.r.o. winery is located in the village of Bavory beneath Table Mountain in the Pálava protected landscape area. The estate was founded in 1997 by Miroslav Šťastný and is now carried on through the generations. Winemaking takes place in historic vaulted cellars from the 17th century equipped with modern technology. Grapes from the Mikulovská wine sub-region are processed into white wines, red wines, and sparkling wines. The portfolio includes traditional grape varieties such as Riesling, Pinot varieties, and Sauvignon, as well as new breeds like Pálava and PIWI varieties.
