About the estate
The Pago del Cielo estate is an initiative by the Torres family established in the Ribera del Duero DO wine region in 2003. The vineyards are located in Campo de Peñafiel, Valladolid, at an altitude of 895 meters above sea level. This high elevation mitigates the harsh continental climate by providing cool night temperatures throughout the year, allowing the grapes to retain their acidity and varietal characteristics. Led by winemaker Juan Ramón García, the winery produces focused wines such as Celeste Crianza and Celeste Reserva. The estate is dedicated to expressing the unique terroir of this renowned Spanish winemaking region.
