About the estate
The Charles NOLL estate located in Mittelwihr in Alsace has been run as a family business since 1864. Knowledge of viticulture, vine care, aging, vinification, and bottling has been passed down from father to son and daughter across multiple generations of winemakers. Today, Daniel Noll heads the operation as the fifth generation, remaining deeply committed to the tradition of producing typical, rich, fresh, and distinctive wines. The history of the estate spans from its beginnings under Georges Winter, through the first bottling in 1946 by Erwin Winter, to the management takeover by Charles Noll and ultimately Daniel Noll in 1987.
