About the estate

The Muster Maria & Sepp estate is located in Leutschach an der Weinstraße in South Styria and is managed by Maria and Sepp Muster, who returned to their childhood home after years of traveling. The soils of the surrounding vineyards consist of clayey-silty sediments and a calcareous marl subsoil locally known as Opok. The winery operates biodynamically and has been a member of the Demeter association since 2003. For vine training, the estate relies on the traditional single-wire or turnover training system along chestnut wood posts. The philosophy centers on a natural cycle that produces characterful, complex, and individual wines.

The eno directory lists 13 wines, mostly from Sauvignon Blanc and Chardonnay. The estate sells to importers, distributors and horeca. Export markets include Switzerland, Germany, Spain and France.
