About the estate
The Modeano estate is situated as a small agricultural hamlet on the western edge of the Friuli-Venezia Giulia region between Venice and Trieste. Viticulture on the property dates back to 1982, and in May 2023, Luca and Andrea Cisorio took over the management of the historic winery. The company-owned vineyards cover an area of 32 hectares and completely surround the headquarters and adjacent buildings. The vines are trained using the Guyot or Silvoz systems, which allow air and light to circulate freely through the neat canopies.
