Michael am Rosenberg

About the estate

Established in 2015, the Michael am Rosenberg estate is located in Weiz within the Vulkanland Steiermark region. Grape varieties such as Sauvignon Blanc, Pinot Blanc, Welschriesling, Yellow Muscat, Pinot Gris, and Cabernet Blanc thrive on the south-westerly slopes of the Rosenberg and in a young vineyard at the foot of the Karberg, while the grapes for the red wines are grown in Deutschkreutz in the Middle Burgenland. The winery places great emphasis on soil health, biodiversity, and manual labor during vinification. The portfolio includes terroir-driven wines as well as Sekt Austria g.U. Distribution is handled via national retail and gastronomy channels.
