About the estate
The Mas Lou estate was founded in 2014 by Adèle Arnaud and Olivier Gil in the Haut-Languedoc region within the Faugères appellation. The winery cultivates 15 hectares of vineyards distributed across schist soils at altitudes between 200 and 400 meters as well as clay-limestone soils in the Côtes de Thongue. All vineyards are managed according to organic farming principles. The traditional grape variety portfolio includes red varieties such as Syrah, old Carignans, Grenache, Cinsault, Mourvèdre, and Lledoner Pelut, alongside white varieties like Viognier, Vermentino, Grenache blanc, and Roussanne. Due to the semi-altitude location and old vines, the resulting wines are characterized by freshness, finesse, and mineral notes.
