About the estate
The Mas de Bret estate is located in the heart of the Alpilles and was founded in 2009 by Jean-Luc Placet and Frédéric Petitbon. Spanning a vineyard area of two hectares, the property produces around 8000 bottles annually through manual, artisanal labor. The terraced vineyards are farmed organically without synthetic inputs and cultivate a total of seven grape varieties. The red wines feature cinsault, cabernet sauvignon, and syrah, while marsanne and roussanne are grown for the white wines. Vinification is carried out naturally using indigenous yeasts, following the early guidance of renowned winemaker Éloi Dürrbach.
