About the estate
The Marijan Arman winery in Vižinada looks back on a family tradition that began in 1880 with the planting of the first vineyard by the great-grandfather. Today, Marijan Arman runs the estate together with his daughters Ines and Nina. The ten hectares of vineyards are located on gentle, southwest-facing slopes in the western Istrian wine-growing region near the Mirna river, where grey-white flysch shapes the soils. The focus is on the indigenous grape varieties Malvazija istarska and Teran, alongside several international varieties. In doing so, the estate combines traditional knowledge with modern cellar technology.
