About the estate

The LISICZA Borház estate in Helesfa looks back on a long family history dating back to the second half of the 19th century when the Mérey family first planted vineyards in the area. Following the nationalization and uprooting of the historic vineyards after the Second World War, replanting began in 1998 under the direction of Dr. István Lisicza alongside the restoration of the historic cellar built in 1906. Today, this cellar serves as the center of the modern winery located in the Pécs wine region. The portfolio includes various white, red, rosé, and sparkling wines, featuring regional specialties such as Pécsi Cirfandli.
