About the estate
The Lheritier Duchene estate is managed in the fourth generation by winemaker Brigitte Duchêne, who took over the property in 1990 with her parents and runs it today alongside co-manager Maxime. The vineyards are located across the communes of Saint-Bris-le-Vineux, Chablis, and Courgis within the Chablis region, cultivating typical grape varieties such as Chardonnay. The estate began its own vinification in 2010 and achieved environmental certification in 2019 to reflect its responsible approach to viticulture. The estate's historic vaulted cellar houses the maturation of various cuvées that authentically express the character of the local terroir.
The eno directory lists 10 wines, mostly from Chardonnay and Aligoté. The estate sells to horeca.
