About the estate
The Lackner estate is located in Kleinengersdorf at the foot of the Bisamberg and looks back on a history dating to 1959 when estate-bottled wines were first produced. Spanning five and a half hectares of vineyards, the south-facing sites around the village are cultivated close to nature with organic fertilization. To achieve high quality, grape yields are reduced through thinning and processed gently in the cellar. The portfolio includes Weinviertel DAC, Riesling, Donauriesling, and Muskateller from sites such as Rohrfeld, Veiglberg, Hausweingarten, Kalbshappen, and Mühlfeld. The wines are aged in stainless steel tanks, oak casks, and barrique barrels.
