About the estate
The La Rose Figeac estate is situated in the southeast of the Pomerol appellation and covers 4.56 hectares of vineyards divided into nine parcels. The terroir consists of gravelly sands that impart aromatic intensity to the wines. The plantings are composed of 90 percent Merlot Noir and 10 percent Cabernet Franc. Nathalie Despagne manages the family property, following in the footsteps of her grandfather Louis Rapin. Since 2009, the vineyard has been farmed organically and is certified by ECOCERT.
