About the estate
The Krikler estate is a traditional family winery located in Weiden am See by Lake Neusiedl. In 2004, Klaus Krikler took over responsibility for the family business in the third generation and laid the foundation for its current structure with a new building. The estate spans approximately 20 hectares of vineyards, with about 50 percent planted with red wine varieties such as Zweigelt, St. Laurent, and Blaufränkisch. The portfolio also includes white varieties like Chardonnay, Pinot Blanc, Welschriesling, and Grüner Veltliner. Vinification takes place in a modern cellar featuring an integrated barrique cellar.
