About the estate

The Kellerei Bozen winery cultivates 340 hectares of vineyards at altitudes between 200 and 1000 meters in the sunny basin around Bolzano. The 224 members of the estate grow a total of 15 grape varieties on diverse soils such as porphyry and debris soils. White wines like Sauvignon and Gewürztraminer originate from the higher elevations, while varieties such as Cabernet, Merlot, and Lagrein thrive in the lower areas and valley floor. The winery has gained particular renown through the indigenous grape varieties Lagrein and St. Magdalener. The architecture of the estate combines sustainable functionality with modern design.
