About the estate
The Kandlerhof estate in Bolzano looks back on a long history and was first mentioned in records in 1278. For over 200 years, the traditional family business has been owned by the Spornberger family and is today managed across generations. The winery is located in the historic wine village of St. Magdalena in South Tyrol and cultivates 4.5 hectares of vineyards. Gregor Spornberger began estate-bottling wine in the late 1960s, and in 1993 the property was officially designated as a heritage farm.
