Heinz Aichmayer

About the estate

The Heinz Aichmayer estate is located in Pichl bei Wels in Upper Austria and produces traditional, regionally anchored quality wines from the Hausruckviertel. The vineyards feature a humus-rich topsoil along with a loam and sandy subsoil typical of the area, which gives the wines a distinct local character. The portfolio includes a modern Piwi Veltliner variety, presented as a powerful white wine with minerality and acidity on the palate, which was a finalist at Best of Upper Austria 2025.
