Heideboden

About the estate

The Heideboden winery is run by the Tschida family in the fourth generation in the Seewinkel region of Burgenland. The estate has practiced close-to-nature and resource-efficient farming for decades before transitioning to bio-organic cultivation in the year 2000. The region is characterized by humus-rich soils made of sandy loam, numerous hours of sunshine, and a balancing lake climate. Due to the closed ecosystem, the cultivation requires a high level of manual care. In addition to organic wines, the estate also produces organic fruit juices.
