About the estate

The Heideboden - Martin Kaintz estate is located in Frauenkirchen in the Seewinkel region of Burgenland and has been farmed organically since 1990. As a pioneer of organic viticulture in Austria and an early member of BIO AUSTRIA, the winery focuses on healthy soils and stable ecosystems. In the cellar, clear organic wines with a distinct origin are produced, many of which are vinified vegan and feature low residual fructose levels. The portfolio is complemented by single-varietal organic grape juices and other non-alcoholic specialties produced from the estate's own grapes. Distribution takes place directly from the winery as well as through regular personal delivery tours across Austria and Germany.

The eno directory lists 10 wines, mostly from Zweigelt and Chardonnay. The estate sells to retail. Export markets include Germany.
