About the estate

The Gravitační vinařství VILAVIN estate cultivates vineyards in the Morava region on limestone soils and rare salt marshes around the municipalities of Dobré Pole and Novosedly. Operations are based on the three pillars of tradition, sustainability, and the gentle movement of grapes and must through gravity. The selection of grape varieties for the various sites was established by Professor Kraus. The portfolio includes Chardonnay, Pálava, Pinot Gris, Pinot Noir, Sauvignon Blanc, Zweigeltrebe, Gewürztraminer, and Grüner Veltliner. Vinification relies on minimal intervention and ageing on the fine lees.
