About the estate

The Georgian Heritage estate is located in the Shida Kartli region near Gori, not far from the historical Ateni Sioni Church within a traditional wine-growing area featuring old vineyard terraces and gardens. This historical location is recognized as one of the oldest traditional wine terroirs and the exclusive microzone of Ateni wine, which gained fame in medieval literature as a royal wine. Having served as royal property since the 10th century, the microzone was historically shaped by valley irrigation systems. In addition to wine, the enterprise produces goat cheese and honey from local farming. The property also includes a traditionally built winery accompanied by a cozy hotel.
