About the estate
The Forchir estate was founded in 1800 by a noble family of Austrian origin who settled in the heart of Friuli. Originally, the vineyards were located in the territory of Palmanova before the winery specialized in viticulture and wine bottling. In 1984, Gianfranco Bianchini took over the tradition of the house, which is now managed by him alongside his daughter Giulia. Today, the winery encompasses 260 hectares of vineyards cultivated with low yields and certified integrated production. The estate places great emphasis on environmental protection, the elimination of herbicides, and resource-efficient management.
