About the estate

The Flandorfer Identity winery in Spannberg has been operated organically since 2014, with some of its vineyards still undergoing conversion. The Weinviertel DAC and other wines originate from extensive, sunny vineyard sites distributed across Spannberg, Raggendorf, and Sandberg Groß-Schweinbarth. The estate applies biodynamic agricultural methods according to Demeter guidelines, works with minimal sulfur, and has been producing amphora-aged wines since 2015. A notable specialty in the portfolio is the Donauriesling Amphore Barrique, which is matured in a clay amphora and aged in a small acacia barrel.
