About the estate
The Feudo Antico estate is located in Tollo Chieti in the Abruzzo region and focuses on autochthonous grape varieties such as Pecorino and Passerina, alongside Montepulciano for its red wines. The vineyards are situated on carefully selected hilly and mountainous sites with high planting densities. Following an extensive zoning study, the area achieved DOCG Tullum status in 2019, making it one of the smallest denominations in Italy. Winemaking relies on minimal intervention, spontaneous fermentation for specific lines, and the avoidance of fining and filtration. During replanting activities in 2013, the remains of a Roman villa were also discovered on the property.
The eno directory lists 3 wines, mostly from Chardonnay and Pecorino.
