About the estate
The Fenny Castle Vineyard estate is located in Wells, Somerset, and was established in 2005 by James and Gill Cumming. Following formal studies in viticulture and winemaking at Plumpton College, the owners planted grape varieties including Bacchus, Ortega and Pinot Noir starting in 2011. The property features a steeply sloping vineyard situated on a geologically significant hill with a southerly exposure. The product range comprises aromatic white wines, dry rosé wines and single-varietal sparkling wines made from Pinot Noir.
