About the estate
The Falezze di Luca Anselmi estate is a small third-generation family business with a history spanning over 85 years, located in Illasi within the Mezzane Valley in the Veneto region. The vineyards are situated at an altitude between 200 and 250 meters on extremely calcareous soils with a sandy-clayey-loam texture. Traditional grape varieties such as Corvinone, Corvina, and Rondinella, alongside parcels of Croatina and Oseleta, are cultivated using the classic Veronese pergola training system. Vineyard management follows organic principles, culminating in certification in 2022. The artisanal and strictly limited production includes Amarone della Valpolicella DOCG, Valpolicella DOC, and Valpolicella Ripasso DOC.
