About the estate
The El Citera estate has its origins in 1927 when the Zanetti family planted their first plot in Peschiera del Garda, establishing a family tradition maintained across generations. The vineyards grow on clay soils that impart fresh apple notes and a persistent minerality to the wines of the Lugana DOC denomination. Vinification is carried out by experienced hands, featuring maturation in cement vats for approximately 18 months followed by further evolution in the bottle respecting lunar cycles.
