About the estate

The Domaine Michel Bertin estate is located in the heart of the Loire wine region and is managed in the fourth generation. The property spans approximately twenty hectares of vineyards distributed across the communes of Le Landreau, Le Loroux-Bottereau, and Vallet. Cultivated grape varieties include Melon de Bourgogne, Folle Blanche, and Chardonnay for white wines, alongside Cabernet and Merlot for reds. Vinification takes place in the estate's cellar in Le Landreau, utilizing oak barrels as well as underground and above-ground tanks for maturation. Produced appellations include AOC Muscadet Sèvre et Maine and Gros Plant du Pays Nantais.
