About the estate
The Domaine M. Lapierre was founded in 1909 and looks back on a long family history in the Beaujolais region. Today, the estate spans 18 hectares of vineyards planted predominantly with the Gamay noir à jus blanc grape variety. The vines are cultivated mainly within the Morgon appellation, along with a few plots in Beaujolais. Operating in harmony with nature, the estate practices organic agriculture and conducts fermentations without additives. Following several generations of family stewardship, the winery is currently run by the descendants of the founders.
