About the estate

The family-run Domaine la Suffrene estate is located in La Cadière-d'Azur in Provence and is deeply rooted in the tradition of the Bandol appellation. The wines are produced on fragmented plots with clay-limestone soils, where the principal grape variety Mourvèdre thrives in particular. Following beginnings in the post-war era, Cédric Gravier took over the estate from his grandfather in 1996 and constructed the current cellar. The winery operates according to organic farming guidelines and received official certification for its wines in 2021. In addition to winemaking, the estate also manages its own olive oil production with certified trees.
