About the estate
The Domaine du Haut Fourneau estate was founded in 1980 by Jean-Claude Blot and his wife Jacqueline in Chançay, and is managed today by Frédéric Teston. The property covers a vineyard area of 36 hectares and produces wines under the AOC Touraine, AOC Touraine mousseux, AOC Vouvray, and AOC Vouvray mousseux denominations. Operating as a producer-harvester, the team oversees all production steps from harvesting to commercialization. Vinification relies on traditional methods to craft both still and sparkling styles.
The eno directory lists 3 wines, mostly from Chenin Blanc. Export markets include Belgium.
